The Magnetic Hill Zoo is Atlantic Canada’s leading zoo that educates and inspires conservation action. Please read the following information to plan your visit.
Services
- Weather permitting, the outdoor sections of the Zoo will be open to view the animals of temperate and sub-tropical climates.
- The animals will be available for viewing in the Ecodome and Imaginarium.
- Hot drinks and snacks will be available for purchase in the vending machines inside the Acadian Forest Bistro.
- The Acadian Forest Bistro’s hot food service will be open on May 4-5, 11-12, and daily from May 18 onward.
- The playground and washrooms will be open.
- Wheelchairs and toddler carts will be available for rent upon arrival and on a first come, first served basis.
Note
Visitors are not permitted to bring their dogs into the Zoo. Trained service dogs are permitted.
