The Magnetic Hill Zoo is Atlantic Canada’s leading zoo that educates and inspires conservation action. Please read the following information to plan your visit.
Services
- Weather permitting, the outdoor sections of the Zoo will be open to view the winter hardy animals (in March 2025).
- The animals will be available for viewing in the Ecodome (in March 2025).
- Hot drinks and snacks will be available for purchase in the vending machines inside the Acadian Forest Bistro.
- The playground and washrooms will be open.
- Wheelchairs will be available for rent upon arrival and on a first come, first served basis.
TRAINED SERVICE DOGS
The Magnetic Hill Zoo is proud to be an accessible facility and welcomes handlers and their trained service dogs.
Therapy dogs/animals and emotional support dogs/animals are not permitted inside the Zoo.
